Elly Campbell put down the "Pregnant Woman's Guide" she was holding and leaned back lazily against the sofa, saying,

Adam hadn't expected Elly to suddenly come up and "flirt" with him like this. Though he should've pulled away, he just couldn't bring himself to move even a little, finding contentment and a peace in her gaze that he hadn't felt since he had woken up.
