Feeling the fragrant and soft body tumble into his arms, Adam Jones's lips couldn't help but curl upwards.
"What's making you so happy?"
He smiled as he hugged her tightly, asking in a gentle voice.
He'd rarely heard his wife call him 'husband'. She tended to use 'President Jones' or 'Island Master Jones' quite often lately. The sudden way she called him 'husband', flitting toward him like a butterfly, actually startled Adam enough to almost make him think she wasn't his wife.
But he could clearly feel the woman in his arms was truly happy from the bottom of her heart. It was the first time since the remarriage that he'd seen her this joyously child-like.
Elly Campbell lifted her head from his embrace, her eyes shining brightly with happiness so vibrant it seemed like it could burst out from her eyes.
Adam thought she was going to tell him some happy news, but instead, she looked at him with a smile and said, "Nope, seeing you is the happiest thing of all."
