Elly Campbell was unaware of the Old Lady's concerns. Hearing her question, she nodded and said:
"Yeah, he stayed in Alaska for a while recently, and the company must have a lot of backlogged work waiting for him to deal with."
Listening to Elly's response, and seeing that her expression was normal, the Old Lady finally felt relieved and went back to her room to rest.
After returning to her room, Elly took a shower. Just as she finished and came out of the bathroom, intending to call Adam Jones and ask about his day, she saw him pushing the door open and entering.
"You're back."
Elly asked somewhat casually, and since her stomach had still been uncomfortable, she didn't talk much with Adam. She went to the dressing room to change her clothes.
But as she passed by Adam, he suddenly pulled her back.
