And when Elly Campbell heard Adam Jones's shameless explanation, she wished she could kick him down the stairs.

Adam Jones placed his hand on Elly Campbell's shoulder, smiling harmlessly, "The more viciously Mommy hits Daddy, the more it proves she loves Daddy."
Although he was speaking to William Campbell, his gaze never left Elly Campbell's face, the amusement in his eyes slowly growing.
