One afternoon the air was heavy with the wispy, white tendrils of smoke that seemed to be coming from nowhere and everywhere.
It coiled around the roads and the buildings like ghosts, shifting shapes in response to a mysterious wind none of them could feel. And it had an eerie sort of life to it; almost as if somewhere beyond our sight there was something-or someone-breathing out these vaporous trails as they drifted up into nothingness above.
As we watched in bewilderment, the smoke swirled around us one last time, then seemed to gather and dissipate into nothing.
It was then that a sudden chill went through the air as if we had all stepped into some kind of unidentified creature.
Upon this short silence a siren was heard along side of a voice warning everyone not to come into contact at those smoke.
Some were confused at what's the meaning of that warning.Silly looking closely at those.
But then...
Outside, a cacophony of screams filled the air. It was as if some unearthly force had descended upon the building, tormenting it with its savage cries. The sounds echoed off the walls and reverberated through the roads until they seemed to be everywhere at once—a symphony of terror that could not be escaped or denied.
Inside, too, were those same desperate cries bouncing from wall to wall and glass window, amplified in their intensity by an unseen hand until finally it seemed like there was no refuge from them outside or inside this place of fear and dread.
My skin prickled as something unseen seemed to pass by us-a sensation I'm sure everyone else felt as well.
The smoke quickly filled the building, with no respite. Outside, terrified cries of anguish could be heard as people desperately sought escape. Inside, an eerie stillness descended upon the scene; a silence only broken by a shrill chorus of screams coming from below as skin scratched against brick and wood in a desperate attempt to flee from what seemed like certain doom. Those who remained found themselves unable to move or even think clearly due to their intense fear and shock at what was occurring around them.
We looked at each other in frustrating state and awe, but none of us could think of a logical explanation for what had just happened.
Until a certain voice was heard.
It was their HR manager who was very good at them.As everyone almost her friend.
It was like there was a silent agreement and they open the door.
The familiar voice they heard came from a pregnant woman.
All of them came inside quickly and the screaming was shut when the door close again.
...
[Flashback]
A few days ago.
The woman in the delivery room was sweating profusely and yelling angrily. She was determined to bring her child into the world. The nurse was urging her to keep going by holding her hand.
'Push! Push! Push!''The nurse yelled.
The woman shouted and pushed herself harder than she had ever before. She exclaimed with relief as the baby slid out into the world.
Because the baby started wailing, the nurse hurriedly wrapped it in a blanket and delivered it to the lady. As she gazed into her newborn's eyes, tears streamed down the woman's cheeks.
[End of flashback]
Tears were running down on the pregnant woman's cheeks while looking down it all seems like a rain drop.
That nurse who encourage the pregnant woman to push was now yelling to pull.
Pulling the cord slowly up.
It's crazy I know! But as the mother weeping and asking for help..
