Chapter 4 - Chapter four

INT. ELEGANT BALLROOM - NIGHT

A breathtaking ballroom filled with twinkling lights, ornate decorations and a sense of anticipation. Guests mingle, laughter fills the air and a string quartet plays softly in the background.

At the front of the room a dazzling altar is adorned with flowers. Dawson, a handsome man, stood nervously beside his mother MRS. JAMESON an elderly woman with a warm smile.

Dawson tries to hide his unease as he searches the crowd for someone. His eyes lock onto Jane , a stunning woman in her late twenties. She moves gracefully through the room looking radiant in her wedding gown.

MRS. JAMESON

(whispering)

Son, are you ready?

DAWSON

(takes a deep breath)

As ready as I'll ever be Mother

MRS. JAMESON pats his son's shoulder reassuringly.

MRS. JAMESON

Remember my boy love finds its way through unexpected avenues. I have entrusted you with this marriage and I trust you will honour it.

Dawson forces a smile, his heart heavy with guilt.

DAWSON

(calmly)

I will Mother.

As the ceremony begins Dawson walks towards the altar, his mind filled with conflicting emotions. He glances at Jane who looks at him lovingly unaware of his inner turmoil.

As Dawson stood at the altar his heart pounded loudly in his chest. On this beautiful summer day surrounded by friends and family he was about to marry the woman of his dreams Jane . The sun's warm rays embraced the picturesque garden where the ceremony would take place illuminating the vibrant flowers adorning the archway.

But behind Dawson's seemingly joyful facade his heart was heavy with guilt. His hands trembled as he clasped them tightly together desperately trying to contain the storm of emotions brewing within him. Dawson couldn't shake the feeling that he was betraying the woman he once loved Ella.

Throughout their years together Ella had been his everything — the one person who understood him on a profound level, the one he thought he would never be able to live without. The memories of their stolen glances and whispered secrets haunted him causing a deep ache in his chest a reminder of love lost. But circumstances had driven them apart.

The guests turned their heads as the gentle sound of music filled the air signalling the arrival of Jane . Her radiant smile captured everyone's attention as she glided towards the altar, her white gown flowing effortlessly behind her. The crowd erupted in applause, their joyful energy filling the space while Dawson's smile tightened reluctantly upon his face.

As Jane reached him her eyes met him with adoration reflecting the hope and dreams they had shared. But the spark in Dawson's eyes flickered overshadowed by the weight of his secret. How could he bear to enter this new chapter with Jane knowing that his heart still yearned for Ella.

The ceremony began and the sound of the minister's voice filled the garden. Dawson listened but his mind wandered back to Ella. The moments they shared flashed before his eyes leaving him breathless with regret.

Vows were exchanged, promises whispered into the gentle breeze and rings slipped on fingers. The guests looked oblivious to the turmoil churning within Andrew. No one could see the invisible chains that bound his heart, the unsaid words that threatened to reveal themselves.

As the minister pronounced them husband and wife the crowd erupted once more showering the couple with love and blessings. But in that moment of supposed triumph a heaviness settled over Dawson's shoulders suffocating him. He forced a smile, a mask to hide his true feelings and held Jane tightly hoping to find comfort in her touch.

The reception hall buzzed with laughter and music but Dawson couldn't shake off the turmoil within him. He stole glances at Jane who wore a radiant smile unaware of the storm brewing inside her husband. In an attempt to escape the chaos consuming his mind he excused himself under the pretence of needing fresh air.

The club stood tall and proud, its neon lights casting an otherworldly glow on the streets below. Dawson pushed open the glass doors and the sounds of muffled laughter and pulsating music assailed his ears. The dimly lit room swirled with the intoxicating scent of alcohol and freedom. This was a place where people obscured their worries behind a masquerade of joy.

At the bar Dawson ordered a stiff drink hoping that the alcohol would dull the sharp edges of reality. Drink after drink vanished into the abyss of his troubles but instead of finding solace he sank deeper into despair. Each sip scorched his throat taunting him with bitter reminders of the love he couldn't express.

In the crowd around him Dawson sensed a new presence — a flicker of familiarity amidst the chaos. Through the haze he caught a glimpse of Ella, his clandestine lover standing near the entrance of the club. She was the embodiment of everything his heart desired, the one who could set his soul ablaze with desire and ignite a passion he had never known before.

Ella's eyes met his and in that instant Dawson forgot everything else. Ella approached him and asked him the reason why he didn't invite him to his wedding. Dawson was just staring and when she got closer to him,she found out that he was drunk. She immediately took him to a room upstairs to avoid him from disgracing himself.

On getting to the room, the heaviness that had burdened Dawson earlier seemed to disappear under Ella's radiant presence.

Leaning in, Dawson pressed his lips gently against hers allowing his emotions to overflow. The tender kiss deepened slowly melting away the weight on his shoulders. In that moment everything else faded into the background leaving only their passionate embrace.

He traced his fingertips along the delicate curve of her cheek savouring the velvety warmth of her skin beneath his touch. She sighed a soft and gentle sound of contentment as she leaned into his caress, her eyes fluttering closed.

Their bodies moved with an effortless rhythm, their souls dancing in perfect harmony. With each exhale their desire grew, a magnetic force pulling them closer and closer. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest matching the rhythm of his own.

The room filled with an intoxicating blend of their scents as their kisses deepened their bodies yearning for more. Their hands roamed freely igniting sparks of passion wherever they went. contours of her exposed neck sending shivers down her spine.

He whispered sweet nothings into her ear, his breath a warm path in its wake. arched her back as he revelled in the way she responded to his every movement.

Their bodies intertwined a ballet of desire as clothes were shed and inhibitions were abandoned. They explored each other with a fervent hunger, their bodies fitting together with an exquisite intimacy. Time became irrelevant as they surrendered to the electric currents flowing between them.

Their moans and sighs merged creating a symphony of pleasure that filled the room. Their senses heightened as they navigated the depths of each other's souls finding solace and ecstasy in their shared connection.

In that dimly lit room Dawson and Ella found solace and escapism from the realities of their lives.

LIGHT OUT.

The next morning, Dawson and Ella were woken up by the loud knocks on their door. The noise happened to be caused by Jane and Mrs Jameson because information got to them that Dawson was in that room with a woman. They decided to ignore but as the noise increased they decided to open the door.

Ella had to hide in the toilet to avoid being seen by them but she doesn't know that Jane and Mrs Jameson have an idea that she is in the room.

Will she be found by Jane and Mrs Jameson?

If she is found, will things end well for her?

Will Jane decide to let things slide as Ella deprived her of her first night with her husband Dawson?
