In great panic, Iris was rushed to her chambers, the only one among the afflicted vampires showing a faint glimmer of life. As soon as she was laid on the bed, Thea enveloped the young princess in a pulsing emerald glow.
Adonis and Atlan stood by, their faces etched with worry and fear.
"Is she going to be okay?" Adonis asked, his breathing rapid and shallow.
"Please, just tell us she'll be fine!" Atlan's voice was grave with desperation.
Thea's eyes remained sealed on Iris, brimming with tears.
"Princess Thea!" Adonis cried out, his distress raw as he yanked at his hair in anguish.
Thea shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "I... I don't know what to do. I can keep her stable, but she'll be in a coma, and..."
"Don't!" Atlan snapped, restraining himself from grabbing Thea, aware that she needed to maintain her focus on Iris.
