Kaylan couldn't understand the rush at all, one minute she was eagerly talking with Heaven and the next second, Cypher was dragging her out rudely, apologising to Heaven who seemed surprised as well.
He looked so restless and that was when her anger dissolved instantly into the air but she didn't say a word till they got into the car. Cypher wasn't one to show emotions so this attitude of his was scaring her, his knuckles were white from tightening it too much and she caressed his hands softly and stared at him.
"What's wrong? Is it so urgent that you had to leave?"
"Mm.. I'm sorry but we have to go. I don't like what's about to happen but know that I'll try my best to protect you in anyway I can." He said the words with assurance and rubbed her chin which made her more worried.
"You're scaring me Cypher." She expressed her frustrations and shifted uncomfortably in the chair.
