At White Falls Village, Maliya had ignored her parents' Incessant questions and slept off that night. They took that as a sign that she ran off to avoid their questions and came back late to sleep in her room and by the time they woke up in the morning again, Maliya had disappeared on them again.
She went to Didi's Manger with nervousness and fear prickling her skin like an itchy Infection. She didn't sleep all night but had series of nightmares at how Zane was caught and captured to the witch Queen which would make get up and pace around nervously.
She ran to the little room where the horse laid but her heart flew to her throat at the empty space that greeted her.
