'He's still mad at us, Kaylan.' Her wolf whimpered sadly and she stared down avoiding his gaze and not saying a word. Cypher stared at her and wondered how to say his words without making her feel bad but he crushed the feeling and ranted, after all, she never cared about how he was going to feel by giving out her gift.
"Don't flaunt my orders Kaylan, I don't want to see you out till the damned coronation? Why the fuck did you go out with Grayson?" His tone was precise and harsh and it made her heart twisted in a sharp pain.
"I don't want to stay indoors just because I gave out a sacred necklace. I'm not going to hide under the shell of a supernatural power?" She grits her teeth as she spews out every word with spite.
