Ray chuckled at her words and stood inches away from her, her words sounding so useless in his ears.
All he needed was his mate, he needed his honor as everyone was waiting patiently for him to present his Luna and he couldn't do a thing.
The people were going to see him as incompetent Alpha who is being careless.
Fuck! He might even lose his title, after all, he wasn't even an Alpha blood. He didn't belong to this Pack but the loyalty and contribution towards the former Alpha had granted him such an opportunity.
