The atmosphere was tense and the air became chilly, Cypher gripped Kaylan's arms tightly and made the mistake of staring down at her. Her lips were dry and parched and the blood was now glued to her skin.
Her face was like milk, so fucking beautiful despite being injured and his heartbeat picked up again at the possibility that she might be dying. He couldn't sense her wolf, her heartbeat was fading too and he instantly knew why he felt all those emotions initially. He was feeling her pain and nervousness and he wasn't going to act like the beast she knew and watch him die. He was going to make whosoever that made her this way, pay with his blood and sweat on the floor.
"Get the fuck out of my way Gareth! If you have a problem with me, then we'll talk it out at the pack."
"You know that's bullshit right?" Gareth fired at him but Cypher was done with him.
