The scent of his mate, the strange reflection of another scene in the mirror he placed and the sudden warmth he felt even when the weather was supposed to freeze him to death.
All these things he didn't realise until the fourth day when he felt a magnetic pull. He could feel her somewhere around him but he couldn't see her and it drove him crazy. At times, he would look at the mirror and see a straight narrow path that led to nowhere and the moons knew how tempted he was to suddenly be inside the mirror and follow the straight path to get his mate outside right here in reality, but that was a mere wish. He got angry at times, talked to himself, talked to her even if she wasn't listening to him and got extremely pissed at Maliya for not fulfilling her promises to help.
