Maliya was ready to leave the Village and went close to the portal as usual to pass over but to her greatest dismay, a mighty surge of wind threw her backward so hard that she yelped in scream. Her back cracked from the effect of the fall and she forgot the pain she felt that moment. The shock of being thrown backwards was way too great than the pain she's feeling right now.
She stood up again and went towards the portal and it repeated the same act, this time, she was flinged in anger and she wondered if the portal was agitated by her Presence.
"Where's my plague?" Realisation dawned on her as she reached for the inside of her side pocket. The plaque was the only thing that made anyone have access in and out of the pack or this fate would befall them.
