For the first time in her life of living as a wolf and being in the midst and existence of Lycans, this would be the first time Kaylan would experience what they called fear, uncertainty and wishing for death instead.
That night she slept off, it was as if they were eagerly waiting for her to sleep so they could take over her. This time around, she wasn't at the other end of the road but at the exact spot she had met those women who threw hot scary words. She tried to disappear back to her room, she wished to hear someone or something call her name so she would go to them, using that same voice but none of that seemed to happen. This time, she looked trapped and enclosed in a world she was not going to escape from.
"Welcome back." One of the women giggled and she flinched, turning her eyes abruptly towards them and she shifted backwards, hot tears laced her eyes as her lips trembled as well.
