The heat from Cypher's groin slowly dissipated after he left the room and met with his Beta who told him about his brother. Alec came after him and pants in harsh breath and bowed in apology.
"I'm really sorry Alpha, I really thought she wasn't inside so I didn't want to take chances and I had to let you know." He said calmly and he nodded.
"Keep doing that, even if she's in the restroom and not in the living room. Let me know, I think something weird happened but I don't want to dwell on it." He cocked his head as if in thought and shook his head.
"Alright Alpha, I'll do well to get back to you.." He replied and left while Cypher's mind wandered back to the room, trying to shut the image of his sexy mate and focus on her absence. The room was large and spacious enough with cottons but the only place she would have been at that moment was supposed to be the restroom.
