Max looked worried and confused but Cypher knew that it was no other person than his brother.
"It's Gareth, he somehow found out that Ashton betrayed him and he couldn't take it." Cypher dropped his spoon feeling bitter suddenly, he didn't like that his brother was still roaming freely.
"But Ashton never said a word Cypher, he was discreet about it and I fulfilled my bargains," Max replied worriedly, he panicked for his family despite the number of guards that boozed around his pack. The King of Dalim was in Cypher's custody and the pack will definitely be merged soon with Star Crescent but it did nothing to quench his worry. He just felt that Gareth was up to no good and was seeking useless revenge.
"But what on earth changed Ashton's mind, he would never betray Gareth no matter what happens."
Cypher was curious , Heaven stared at them silently and focused more on sipping the juice.
