Zane waited at the entrance to Cypher's room and paced nervously, he heard that he was back from Moon Pack but he hadn't seen him yet. What kept him calm was his scent, he was in the mansion and that was enough to keep him calm and wait till he came over.
Guilt swam in his bloodstream and he recalled Cypher's state, not being there with him and leaving after a very heated argument that had to do with his cheating mate who was barely breathing.
He felt stupid and he hoped Cypher would not take his words seriously or he would be hurt beyond words. He pinched his jaw, lost in thought, his golden brown hair fell right on his face and made no effort of pushing it back, it was as if the hair was a shield to his disturbed mind at the moment.
