Horror and dread washed through Kaylan as Cypher struggled to breathe and was now crouched to the floor.
Despite his Alpha powers and his Lycan abilities, the bane was just too powerful for him and he didn't know what the hell was wrong with him. He has never experienced such before in his entire life so experiencing this was another level.
"W.. what…the fuck..is wrong with…me?"
He grunted in pain and tried to fight it and Kaylan broke into a terrible sob as her hands were clasped and covered on her mouth.
"I'm sorry.." she whispered, loud enough to his hearing and Cypher coughed out blood and arched his eyebrows at her.
He had so many questions to ask her, so many things to say to her, and wished to wipe the silly tears from her face to yell at her to stop it.
But the next second whooshed life out of him as he dropped down like a heavy sack of tomato on the ground.
