The days of joyous reunion flew by swiftly, and in the blink of an eye, it was already the twenty-second of the twelfth lunar month, almost time for the celebration of the Little New Year.
Zixuan and Jinghan were to return to the Lin family, as they couldn't spend the Little New Year at the Xu family. Qingyuan and Qingyao had been having a great time these past few days, playing to their hearts' content with so many brothers and sisters; they had nearly gone wild with excitement. So, when they heard that they were going back home, both of them burst into tears. It was only after Zixuan had coaxed them for a long while that they finally agreed to return home.
"Hongchang brother, Hongbo brother, wait for the New Year to end, you must come and play with me," Qingyuan said, holding onto Hongbo and Hongchang's hands, speaking with a hint of reluctance. He got along best with these two brothers.
"Sure, we'll definitely come to see you," Hongbo promised, patting Qingyuan on the shoulder.
