Of course, they couldn't see all of this themselves; it was the villagers following alongside who introduced it to them. These villagers had been living near Xianghaipao for generations, engaging in hunting and fishing during the farming off-season, so they were very familiar with the area. They had only escorted the group from a distance earlier, but now they followed closer because they had to head to other places.
