Jinghan entered the cottage and saw that there was only a low table inside. The Taoist Priest was sitting behind it on the floor. In front of the low table, there was also a mattress, apparently left for her. Jinghan approached and sat down on the mattress.
"If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I believe we are predestined to meet," said the Taoist Priest warmly.
"After I woke up, my family mentioned that you, Taoist Priest, had said that I was a reincarnation of the dragon girl. May I ask if this is true or false? Jinghan dared not inquire directly about her origins, so she phrased her question carefully.
"You are already well aware of your origins, so why do you ask such a question? The one who was taken away that day was the dragon girl; you are but a mere mortal," the Taoist Priest looked at Jinghan and said with a smile. "What you really want to ask is why you have come to this place, right? This is not difficult to explain. So, listen well as I tell you."
