Wenhan and his party hurried out of the palace and returned to Mingyu's side courtyard. There was no time to pack anything; they directly mounted the horses Mingyu had prepared and galloped out of the capital city.
Mingyu didn't accompany them, as he still needed to bring the imperial doctor and couldn't possibly travel that fast. Meanwhile, Qi Yunfei followed Zixuan and the others, spurring their horses on to rush back home.
After more than four days of travel, Zixuan and his group finally arrived back at the Xu family. Mr. Wang, the gatekeeper, was thrilled to see Wenhan and the others, "Young Master, Young Master-in-law, you have returned. Miss Jinghan nearly lost her life; she's only recently recovered and is resting at home."
Upon hearing that Jinghan had recovered, Zixuan and the others felt some relief. Without regard for anything else, they went straight to the room where Jinghan was staying.
