The next day, Zhixin and Mrs. Xue brought with them quite a few gifts to the teacher's home. Wenhan had already mentioned their purpose, so Master Zheng had taken leave and was waiting at home. The meeting between the parties was quite congenial.
Master Zheng's wife, Mrs. Feng, was a very virtuous woman; the couple seemed to have a rather good relationship.
