The owner's wife, frustrated after having a taste, returned the uneaten dimsum to the tray, turned, and shouted towards the back room: "Hey dear, are you courting death? The green bean cakes which the naughty Tom deliberately added an excessive amount of sugar to, weren't they supposed to be taken out? You wouldn't be thinking of ruining our business, would you?"
During this dialogue, a middle-aged man, donned in an apron, hurriedly walked out with a face full of ashamed and helpless look. He asked, "How did you, Tom's mother, find out?"
"The customers realized that you added heaps of sugar into it. I have no idea how many you have sold!" The shop owner's wife placed both hands on her waist, glaring at him.
