"I suddenly feel much better," Melody Foster's complexion seemed to regain a bit of color.
She sat up straight and smiled at Darton Thompson.
For some reason, although her smile was gentle, it made Darton Thompson feel oddly uneasy.
"Let's still call the Doctor over to take a look," Nigel Clegg's face was somewhat cold. He suddenly felt that Darton Thompson might have done something bad to Melody Foster.
Although there was no factual basis on the surface, his intuition told him so.
And Darton Thompson's expression was indeed very unnatural.
It wasn't the unnaturalness of feeling guilty and panicked for taking Melody Foster for an examination, but it was more like feeling guilty as if a secret had been revealed.
"No need, Nigel Clegg," Melody Foster quickly stopped him. "I'm feeling much better now. Darton, calling you over really troubled you."
Darton Thompson smiled, but it was somewhat stiff: "Not at all, I'm honored that you thought of me first, Melody Foster."
