"Whether I'm worthy or not..." Nigel Clegg was really about to lose it, "If you keep saying things like that, be careful or I'll make sure you can't walk tomorrow!"
As he spoke, he pinned Melody Foster beneath him.
Melody Foster couldn't help but let out a low cry of surprise, "I was wrong, okay?"
Nigel Clegg laughed wickedly, "It's too late now. Choose, do you want me to carry you tomorrow, or should I piggyback you?"
"That would be absolutely embarrassing." Melody Foster covered her face, "What would your mom and dad think if they saw that?"
"Psh," Nigel Clegg scoffed disdainfully, "When they get all lovey-dovey, they're way more exaggerated than this. They have no right to be embarrassed by us."
"Your dad... and mom?" Melody Foster expressed disbelief.
It was impossible to imagine that her normally unapproachable father would dote on a woman in such a manner.
"Yes," Nigel Clegg nodded, "I'm talking about my dad. Surprising, right? The way he treats my mom... tsk tsk."
