Dust flew in every direction.
It made it nearly impossible to discern figures in the small basement bedchamber.
"What's going on? What's happened?" Jane Foster's shrill voice pierced through the dust.
She frantically searched through the tattered wood and fabric: "How can there be no treasure? Where's my inheritance, my wealth?"
"What's all this about?" Arthur Baker turned to look at Nigel Clegg and Melody Foster.
Melody Foster was also at a loss.
However, Nigel Clegg just shrugged his shoulders.
"It's just as you see," he said calmly to Arthur Baker, "This is the legendary Treasure Land. I warned you before that it's highly likely there's nothing here."
"You're lying!" Arthur Baker lunged at him, fingers outstretched as if to choke Nigel Clegg.
Yet Nigel Clegg tucked Melody Foster behind him and with an outstretched hand, he deflected Arthur Baker's attack with one move.
"Are you trying to duel with me?" he asked calmly.
