The plane flew for an entire day before it finally landed at an unknown small island airport.
Duo Duo and Merlin got off the plane, strolled around the island, and bought some essential living supplies.
"Let's just buy a little today; we can come back another day and get more," Merlin said to Duo Duo.
Duo Duo took a liking to a string of handmade colored stone necklaces crafted by the island's natives.
Merlin generously bought it for her.
"I think this necklace is even prettier than diamonds," Duo Duo said, looking at herself in the mirror from different angles.
"Everything looks good on a beautiful person," Merlin commented, resting his shoulder on Duo Duo's and looking with her into the mirror.
Duo Duo couldn't help but push him away.
"I'm not used to you not teasing or mocking me," she said.
"It's the same," Merlin replied with an indulgent look in his eyes, "I'm not used to you not losing your temper with me, either."
