"A new identity?" Duoduo was taken aback. "So soon?"
With a smile, Merlin Edvin said, "Idiot, I've already taken care of it. I've been working on this since I returned from Misty City. As long as you're willing to go with me, we can leave right away."
Upon hearing this, Duoduo couldn't help but feel excited, and she threw herself at Merlin Edvin, kissing him on the cheek.
She had not expected that he had been planning this all along.
Merlin Edvin laughed as he hugged Duoduo tight. "You're suddenly being so nice to me; I'm not used to it."
"Stop talking nonsense," urged Duoduo. "Let's go now."
The two of them made their way out of the palace together.
Duoduo had thought about saying goodbye to Victoria, her mom, and Michael, but in the end, she steeled her heart.
