Milo seemed to have guessed Dodo's reaction.
He waited for her to recover, then smiled and asked, "Are you planning to keep drinking with me?"
Dodo immediately shook her head: "No more..."
Milo immediately said to the bartender, "Another drink for me, and for this lady... a glass of water."
Dodo's face turned red, not sure if it was because of the strong drink she had just consumed or because she felt embarrassed.
When Milo drank his second drink, Dodo silently sipped her water.
Both were silent for a while.
It was Milo who spoke first: "Don't you have something you want to ask me?"
"I do..." Dodo replied, feeling her heart had calmed down enough to dare to talk, "You know what I want to ask."
"Merlin?" Milo inquired.
Unexpectedly, Dodo shook her head slightly: "No, I want to know about your matters first."
"There's not much to say about my own affairs," Milo answered, "just recuperating from injury, then coming back, that's all."
"Just that?" Dodo didn't believe it.
