"Let's eat," John Coleman offered food to Dodo, "Eat more to make up for the upset you've faced."
"I wasn't upset at all," Dodo ate unreservedly the food John Coleman served, "The one at a loss is William Shaw, he had to agree to the Richardson Family subscribing to Shaw Family's shares, he must be fuming right now."
John Coleman seemed to shake his head and said, "William Shaw is a fool."
"Right, a fool," Dodo nodded.
John Coleman immediately added, "He actually offended you over a mere portion of shares. How could that little thing compare to Miss Dodo's worth?"
"He didn't even know I was a woman," Dodo muttered while eating, "In his eyes, I was just a bodyguard, probably because I saved his sister's life, so he has always been grateful to me. But now, as soon as he finds out I'm not loyal enough, he's ready to kick me out immediately."
She clicked her tongue, "Truly a heartless and ungrateful person."
Fortunately, she had seen his true colors in advance.
