"What can I do!" Dodo also stood up angrily.
Never before had anyone dared to shout at her like this.
Not even Daddy and Mommy had ever scolded her so fiercely.
"I'm his bodyguard. Wherever he goes, I must ensure his safety," she retorted to John Coleman, "Can you please be reasonable?"
"Why should I be reasonable?" John Coleman sneered, "Did William Shaw be reasonable with me? He randomly chose you to be his personal bodyguard; did he ever ask for my opinion?"
"Does your opinion matter?!" Dodo almost wanted to slap John Coleman, "Who are you to me!"
She was so agitated that she forgot to disguise her voice, now shouting in a distinctly feminine tone.
"You're nobody to me," John Coleman looked at Dodo with an imposing stare, "but there's a principle of first come, first served in everything. I knew you first; I became friends with you first. He can't just cut in line!"
Dodo was infuriated by John Coleman's words.
