"Shall we see Hank off?" Bella Shaw no longer called Mr. Hank Lucky.
"Hank?" William Shaw's eyebrows involuntarily rose, "That's an interesting name."
Hank's heart couldn't help but tense up.
Her childhood nickname was Hank, and quite a few people knew about it. William Shaw couldn't possibly have guessed something, could he?
However, maybe because the name Hank was fairly common, William Shaw didn't show any particular reaction.
"Evelyn, it's so late, where are you going?" Mrs. Shaw appeared out of nowhere.
"Mom!" Bella Shaw finally couldn't hold back; she really wanted to spend more time with Hank, but Mrs. Shaw was keeping a tight hold on her.
"I'll take Hank away by myself," William Shaw quickly picked up on the name, placing a hand on Bella Shaw's shoulder, "Don't worry."
He gave his sister a meaningful look.
Bella Shaw understood her brother's glance; she knew he was on her side, which made her feel somewhat better.
Hank rode back in William Shaw's car.
