Daisy Wright hung her head low, her cheeks flushing as she nodded ever so slightly.
"Just right to find out," Victoria added with a laugh from the side. "Shawn, aren't you going to carry your wife home and cherish her?"
"Cherish, cherish, for sure," Shawn Clegg held Daisy's legs tightly. "My wife is so awesome; I'll burn incense and offer fruit every day, and even bathe and change clothes to pray to her three times morning and night."
"Are you crazy?" Daisy was uncomfortable with Shawn Clegg's exaggerations. "Stop kneeling, get up now."
Mrs. Clegg wiped her tears while laughing: "No, let him kneel, just let him kneel. Daisy, you truly are a blessing to our family. Ever since you came, Victoria got pregnant, and now you're pregnant too, our whole family doesn't know how to thank you enough."
"Mom, don't say that, I'm getting embarrassed," Daisy spoke the truth.
