"Auntie, call Franklin Clegg and tell him to come up," the Queen instructed the maid.
"Your Majesty, Franklin Clegg just said he was about to kill Maya Dryen. He also said he is confronting Hank Clegg," the maid replied.
Victoria was startled upon hearing this.
But the Queen immediately tightened her grip on Victoria's hair, reminding her not to move her head.
"Call him," her tone dropped several degrees, "Bring the phone to me, I'll talk to him."
It was then that Victoria realized just how gentle her previous indifferent tone had been.
Obediently, the maid dialed Franklin Clegg's number and handed the phone to the Queen.
Thus, Victoria heard the Queen threaten Hank Clegg directly.
After hanging up the phone, she lowered her head again, her expression and tone reverting to what they were before.
"Good, it's not messed up…" she seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, "Good, halfway done, keep it up."
When she spoke, she unexpectedly possessed an air of a demure young woman.
