"Miss Daisy, you finally deign to grace me with a call." Picking up the phone, Shawn Clegg said with a mix of complaint and happiness.
But there was a long silence on the other end of the line.
Shawn Clegg sensed something amiss.
He immediately asked, "What's wrong? Daisy, are you there?"
This time, Daisy quickly responded, "I'm here…"
However, her voice was as thin as a thread.
"What's the matter? Are you feeling unwell?" Shawn Clegg asked, somewhat anxiously.
He could feel Daisy shaking her head on the other end, "I'm not feeling unwell, I'm just... tired from shopping."
Shawn Clegg immediately laughed, "You really are something. How long has it been since you went shopping, that you're tired after such a short time? Didn't they say that given all the time in the world, you could shop around the entire Earth?"
"Where do you get these bizarre sayings," Daisy seemed to scold, "I never liked shopping in the first place, and yet my mom dragged me around half of Sez."
