She hurriedly sat down, somewhat embarrassed as she straightened out the hem of her clothes.
"The prince wouldn't treat the queen the way he treated Chloe," Hank Clegg explained to her, "The queen's health is poor, which may be related to prolonged imprisonment and depression. The prince also wishes to gain power legitimately and reasonably. If he shows signs of abusing the queen, then he and the fake princess will soon fall from grace."
"That's good," Victoria murmured softly.
She didn't know why she had been so agitated just a moment ago.
Perhaps it was the thought that harming the queen would be harming Joseph, she reasoned.
"When are you going for a comprehensive checkup?" Hank Clegg then asked Shawn Clegg, but was looking at Mason Ross.
