Having slept through the day in a daze, Daisy Wright finally woke up.
The first thing she did upon awakening was, subconsciously, to want to check on Shawn Clegg in the next room.
It wasn't until she sat up that she remembered where she was supposed to be.
"It's become a habit," she tapped her head, "It might take a long time to get used to not doing it."
To adapt to a life no longer revolving around him, to adapt to days without expectations or emotional fluctuations.
Daisy pulled back the curtains of her room, and the bright sunshine immediately flooded in.
What time was it?
Daisy was surprised.
She immediately went to check her phone, only to find it had turned off automatically because the battery was dead.
The club was backed by a vast garden, and since the rooms were on the ground floor, they all had windows. But Daisy just stared out at the beautiful scenery, lost in thought.
Her luggage was still at the Murphy residence.
