The Princess saw her in such a dazed state, with a face so beautiful it aroused jealousy, and her heart inexplicably blazed with anger.
"What are you staring at me for!" she screamed at the girl, "Who gave you permission to look at me like that?"
At those words, the girl immediately lowered her head in fright.
Yet the Princess had already advanced toward her.
She reached out and grabbed the girl's hair.
A sour stench assaulted her nostrils.
The Princess wrinkled her nose, but her grip on the hair tightened.
The girl winced with pain but dared not make a sound.
"Quite stubborn, aren't you?" The Princess saw fault in everything, and, lashing out, she kicked the girl. The blow landed on the girl's stomach, eliciting a muffled grunt from her, "I want to see just how long you can hold out! You lowly creature!"
Perhaps it was the stench that was too much to bear.
The Princess finally released the girl's hair but took the opportunity to slam her head against the wall.
