Hank Clegg watched her with a smile, but did not answer her question.
Victoria soon realized the situation.
"Right," now she completely covered her face with her hands, "you are the honored guest, and I'm just basking in your light."
"You and me, why differentiate between you and me?" Hank Clegg reached out and encircled Victoria's waist, "You are me, and I am you. We are us."
"Stop it, what's with the tongue twisters?" Victoria chided playfully.
At the moment, many people were dancing at the banquet, some were watching from the side, and others were chatting.
So, even though it was a public place, Victoria felt as if it was just their own private world.
"Do I annoy you?" Hank Clegg asked in return, leaning closer to Victoria, "I haven't even asked you where you learned the waltz."
