After a lengthy silence, Shawn Clegg finally spoke up, "I would have completely thrown away the phone, not just hide it under the bed, leaving it for someone else to discover. Or, I could simply steal someone else's phone, send a text to the adversary from that phone, and then throw the phone under someone else's bed. Any method would be wiser than hiding the phone under the bed, wouldn't it?"
After Shawn Clegg finished speaking.
He locked eyes with Hank Clegg in mid-air.
Shawn Clegg lowered his eyes and continued, "I could pick someone I don't like and pull off something like this, killing two birds with one stone. Daisy Wright..." he turned his gaze to Daisy Wright, "have you offended anyone lately?"
Daisy Wright innocently shook her head.
She really didn't know what kind of enemy she had made to deserve such treatment.
