"Huh? What?" Victoria clearly didn't understand what Hank Clegg was saying.
Hank's eyes cooled slightly, he looked down at Victoria, a hint of threat in his voice: "Tell me, do you enjoy hiding every man you've ever slept with in your closet?"
"What do you mean by 'every one'?" Victoria flared up at once. "There's been no other man but you, okay?"
The closet refused to take that accusation.
It absolutely denied it!
"Then why did you hide Lucas Douglas in the closet last time?" Hank's face was icy cold.
"That was..." Victoria stuttered, "That was because he was already standing in front of the closet, so I simply pushed him in... This is totally different from what happened with you before. You were ready to leave after everything, trying to evade responsibility. So, I smartly used a lock..."
Victoria suddenly paused mid-sentence.
She jolted, and looked at Hank Clegg in shock.
He was smiling at her now, the coldness in his eyes gone.
