The darkness before dawn is always hard to endure.
Shawn Clegg asked Victoria, "If you can't sleep, do you want me to sing for you?"
Victoria took a look around the empty waiting room, a private concert with just one audience member if he did sing now.
She smiled at Shawn Clegg, "I never knew you could sing before."
"Because you never wanted to understand me." Shawn Clegg's casual words held no traces of sorrow.
Victoria was silent for a moment, then lifted her head. "I'm sorry."
"Don't say that," Shawn Clegg seemed to have truly matured. "Try to sleep a bit, we still have a journey tomorrow morning."
"I can't sleep," Victoria breathed in the early morning air, "Wondering what the babies and Hank Clegg are doing now...Listen, another train is coming."
"You should try to sleep." sighed Shawn Clegg, "You sleep first, then swap with me later. In case anything happens, we'll have the energy to run away."
