Anna Hughes was in utter turmoil.
She knocked uncontrollably at Shawn Clegg's door: "Dylan, Dylan, you can't do this, there's nothing between Nathan Malcolm and me, you have to believe me."
No matter how long she knocked or what she explained, Shawn Clegg kept his door tightly shut.
After what felt like an eternity, he finally opened the door.
"Dylan, let me explain." Anna Hughes started, somewhat relieved that Shawn Clegg had finally opened the door.
But Shawn Clegg was already ahead of her, placing a stack of money into her palm.
"This is to thank you for having me and taking care of me," he said coldly, "Goodbye now."
"Dylan, no, you can't go." Anna Hughes's face lost all color in fear. She blocked Shawn Clegg's wheelchair, "I didn't do anything wrong, why do you have to leave? Why are you punishing me like this?"
