Pregnancy is a sentimental topic.
Upon hearing about it, Victoria felt a twinge of melancholy too.
However, she quickly picked up a cupcake and took a bite, saying to herself, "I remember having quite an appetite when I was pregnant with you two."
"Easy on the cupcakes!" Ada and Michael cried out, "Please don't forget that you're not pregnant right now! Leave some cupcakes for us!"
And so, the three of them huddled in the kitchen eating cupcakes...
"What is mommy thinking?" Michael suddenly asked Victoria out of the blue.
"Thinking about what?" Victoria responded with her usual dazed expression.
"About... What Lucas Douglas mentioned... about leaving this place." Michael managed to say with some difficulty.
Upon hearing this, Victoria fell silent.
After what felt like ages, she finally answered, "Hmm... leaving or not doesn't really matter. But, if we leave without saying a word, wouldn't that be... unfair to your grandparents?"
