In an instant, Victoria felt drained of all energy.
Tears rolled down her face again: "I've never turned you down before."
"Is that so?" Hank Clegg extended a finger, tracing her eyebrows and the orbits of her eyes delicately, "Victoria Talkington, your words, your actions, your every gesture – do you think I don't notice these? Every time you respond, your resistance is obvious. Otherwise, why would I insist on taking you for a check-up?"
Victoria was stunned speechless.
It never occurred to her that the underlying reason Hank Clegg insisted on her medical examination was due to her reaction to their intimate activities.
