"Do you consider yourself lucky?" Hank Clegg allowed Victoria to carefully lead him, his gaze unwavering on the path ahead as he spoke.
"No way!" Victoria exploded, "It's very embarrassing, okay?"
She didn't want such compliments.
"How did the checkup go?" Hank Clegg asked her as if he didn't hear her complaint.
"The results won't be out for another half hour. Next, should I accompany you for your checkup?"
She looked at him.
"No need." Hank Clegg scowled, "What's the matter with you, a woman, just sitting outside a male department?"
"Ah, you know that!" Victoria exploded again, "I was going to ask you, what's the matter with you sitting outside my checkup department!"
"It doesn't matter, got it?" Hank Clegg patted Victoria's head, "Didn't you hear those women dying of envy? Your husband is handsome and considerate, a once-in-a-millennium good man."
Victoria was baffled: "You should brag less."
Ugh, so that's what you're really like, Hank Clegg.
