"Is that so?" Hank Clegg presented to the store clerk the photos of the child caught on street surveillance during the first Gold Shop robbery and the one captured on the shop's camera during the second theft.
The shop assistant carefully scrutinized them for a while.
"They do resemble, but I cannot confirm." She said hesitantly, "Children of this age are similar in build. However, I can certainly say, their outfits were entirely different."
Hank Clegg pondered briefly: "What if they were in front of you now, could you recognize them?"
The assistant shook her head uncertainly: "I'm not certain...It was late at night, it was quite dark, and when they came out, I wasn't quite with it. It was only when I entered the shop that I realized valuable gold and silver jewelry were completely plundered."
Hank Clegg decided against having the shop assistant identify Momo and Michael.
She couldn't clearly recognize people; seeing them might end up misleading her.
