"You didn't rob the Gold Shop." Hank Clegg's tone was assuring rather than interrogative.
Michael nodded.
"You also didn't drop off Milo Edvin." Hank added.
Michael nodded again.
"But you won't tell me, nor will you tell anyone else what you were doing, will you?" Hank finally asked.
Michael hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded his head.
"Then go with Decker Spencer." Hank stood up.
His words stunned Victoria and everyone else present.
"No, Hank, you can't!" Victoria and Mrs. Chu exclaimed simultaneously.
"Silence!" Hank suddenly shouted.
He looked at Michael, then said solemnly, "You are my son."
Michael lifted his head, the same determination in his eyes as Hank.
"Yes," he firmly responded.
Hank placed his hands on Michael's shoulders and pushed him gently away.
The living room was so quiet that every breath could be heard.
Under everyone's gaze, Michael stepped forward and walked towards Decker.
